COVID turned my teaching from a classroom dialog with lively students to a Zoom online monolog. Some of these recordings come from that time. In truth I don’t think the students benefited from online learning, many were juggling family demands and did not trust the medium to voice their thoughts. We couldn’t make eye contact with each other and the resonance that can arise from sharing personal insights was lost. It was a horrid time for us all
